BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a STEM background, proven experience in the TIC sector, and a strong network of clients, including connections with consultants and consulting firms. This role is crucial for driving growth and expanding our market presence, particularly in Certification and Inspection needs deriving from EPC or O&M Programmes. If you are passionate about quality, compliance, and sustainability, and have the expertise to leverage our vast portfolio, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth in the TIC sector, focusing on Certification & Inspection services.
  • Leverage your existing network, including consultants and consulting firms, to onboard a number of customers directly.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote and sell VALIDX’s extensive portfolio of services, including ISO certifications, Inspections, Training, sustainability services, and digital transformation solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback

Qualifications

Necessary Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in sales and business development within the TIC sector; expertise in industry specifics is also welcome (Oil & Gas, Maritime, Construction, ICT, Pharma etc).
  • Proven ability to onboard and manage a portfolio of clients, with strong connections to consultants and consulting firms.
  • Strong sales acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of ISO certifications, sustainability frameworks, inspection services, and project requirements.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
