Join us for an immersive seminar focused on Forklift Operator Training - Legislation, Safety Rules & Good Practices. This comprehensive training delves into critical guidelines and practices essential for ensuring safety and compliance in diverse workplace environments.
The purpose of the training program is to implement the provisions of the new Greek legislation regarding the operators of lifting machines with a small lifting capacity (up to 2,500kg).
The operator must know the basic mechanical elements as well as the safety elements of the machines, in order to avoid accidents caused by misuse and insufficient training.
After the end of the program, the participants will have acquired the necessary knowledge and handling skills in the following:
- Operate forklifts safely.
- Load and unload forklifts with all safety rules, both for the operator himself and for those working in the same area.
- To use the vehicles based on the principles of the road traffic code in the workplaces.
- Carry out manoeuvres safely and generally have proper road behavior.
Also to acquire the necessary basic technical knowledge regarding:
- The operating principles of internal combustion engines.
- The power supply systems.
- Hydraulic systems in forklift trucks.
- Forklift tires and their wear and tear.
Upon completion of the training, the participants know the obligations defined by the relevant legislation, the principles defined by engineering and the good practices defined by the manufacturers.
The practical training provided helps the operator to apply what he learned in his theoretical training under the guidance and supervision of our company's most specialized and experienced trainers.
