The purpose of the training program is to give the participants a multi-faceted theoretical training in the Lifting Machinery Inspection Sector.
Participants gain full theoretical and practical knowledge in machinery inspection and are now considered hoist inspectors.
It includes material on all the technical characteristics that lifting machines must have in order to operate safely, in accordance with Greek and European legislation.
The term lifting machine includes: bridge cranes, forklift trucks, basket trucks, crane vehicles (self-propelled & construction cranes), track winches, 2-post & 4-post workshop lifts, etc.
The training program presents the requirements of the Greek Legislation (Government Gazette 1186 B/25.08.2003) "on qualified persons who carry out inspections and on the Training of Lifting Machinery Inspectors".
